It’s a Little Early, But Okay

BookBlogWriMo prompt: #TBT – Best Books of 2014

So according to the Book Count, I have read 32 books this year. But which ones were the best?

At the end of the year I plan on making a masterpost of lists summing up the year. But it doesn’t hurt to have a preliminary list, right?

Here are is the tentative list of the best books I read in 2014 (in no particular order):

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Midnight Robber by Nalo Hopkinson

Midnight Robber

Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card

Ender’s Shadow by Orson Scott Card

Ender's Shadow

Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods by Rick Riordan

There are some possible game changers, specifically Jane Austen’s Emma, which I will be finishing some time this week!

  1. I’ve been meaning to read Dante and Aristotle for months. I almost bought it but was talked out of it by my mother… she claims I have too many books xD One day I’ll get around to it! Everyone’s said it’s amazing.
