After reading The Fault in our Stars, I discovered that I already knew John Green.
I used to watch the Crash Course videos that he and his brother, Hank Green, made on Youtube. Little did I know that they had a bazillion and four other channels on the site.
And I was hooked.
I ended up getting lost in Nerdfighteria, which is basically the community of people who enjoy their videos…and since I really can’t explain it myself, I’ll let the Green brothers do it for me:
Is it kind of silly? Yeah.
Is it kind of nerdy? Not just “kind of”.
Is it pretty awesome? Yeah! (Well, at least I think so.)
It’s kind of like a real-life version of The Big Bang Theory. They talk about anything and everything, because they are interested in anything and everything. And like how in their blogs, they celebrate that curiosity and right to free speech. Hank Green writes songs about anglerfish and Shakespeare. John’s puff levels are amusing to track, and his questions Tuesdays are always fun. Below are a bunch of links to stuff related to the vlogbrothers, which I recommend you check out (I haven’t even seen it all).

If you’ve heard of vlogbrothers before, are a nerdfighter, or even if you aren’t, if you have an opinion, let it be known by commenting below!
Also, I’m going to try NaBloPoMo (which, for some reason does not sound as good as NaNoWriMo, oh well…) so expect a post tomorrow.
